Garlic parmesan carrot chips are almost as delicious as the real thing! If you are needing to indulge in something savory, while not over doing your carb intake, this is the perfect recipe for you! You can make these carrot chips for small gatherings, bbq's, as a side dish, or a yummy after school snack!
What You'll Need:
- A Bag of Large Carrots
- 1/4 cup of parsley
- 1 table spoon of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of grated parmesan
- 1 table spoon of garlic powder
- 1 table spoon of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Before you begin, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Then you'll want to wash and slice your carrots into small slices and then place carrots in a larger mixing bowl.
Add in the olive oil, parmesan, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and parsley. Then mix until the mixture evenly coats the carrots
Next place your carrots onto a baking sheet and make sure carrots are not overlapping. Then place in the oven for about 15 - 20 minutes, you can leave in longer if you would like them more crisp.
Take the chips out of the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes. Then pair with a healthy ranch dressing and enjoy!
