Why not start your morning off right with a fun breakfast in the shape of a bunny for you or your little ones! It’s a fun way to get into the spirit of Easter and a whole lot better than eating chocolate bunnies! This breakfast will take you about 10 minutes to whip up and will provide your body with the fuel it needs to start the day.
Here’s the recipe!
- 1 egg sunny side up
- 1 piece of bacon cut in half
- Long shreds of carrots
First you’ll want to cook one egg sunny side up that will act as the face of the bunny. Before cooking your bacon, slice it in half. It will be much easier to make it into halves before its all crispy and cooked!
Once your egg and bacon as cooked to how you like it, place it on the plate. The egg in the bottom center of the plate and the bacon coming out from above to act as the ears. Then you’ll place two blueberries at the top of the egg for the eyes and have pieces of carrots coming on either side of the yolk, these will act as the whiskers for the bunny.
It’s as easy as that! You’ve made yourself and your kiddos a delicious and fun breakfast they will enjoy eating! We paired the dish with a side of sliced bananas and a glass of orange juice to fill up on potassium and vitamin c.
