The Cam Smoothie Bowl

Summer time is filled with bright colors, from the bathing suits we wear or pool floaties we use, even to the foods we eat! Thats why today we are bringing you the ultimate summer time bowl that will send your tastebuds on an exciting journey. We give you the Cameron Pitaya Bowl that is dairy free and filled with the superfood Pitaya also known as dragon fruit! This smoothie bowl is a great item to bring along in a PackIt bag to a summer picnic or just enjoy on a day out on the town!



Here's what you'll need for the smoothie bowl:

  • 8 frozen strawberries
  • 10 frozen pineapple chunks
  • Half picket of Pitaya
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 3 - 4 oz of cashew milk

In a blender you want to first add your frozen ingredients like the strawberries, pineapple chunks, and banana. Then add in your pitaya and 3 - 4 oz of cashew milk! Blend this together until it is evenly mixed together. Since most of these ingredients are frozen, there is no need for ice and it also makes the smoothie thicker. If it is too thick add in a little more cashew milk until you meet your desired consistency.



To top off your bowl you'll need:

  • Granola of your choice
  • Fresh banana slices
  • Fresh strawberry slices
  • A few blueberries
  • Toasted coconut chips

Once your smoothie is all mixed together, pour into a bowl that you can carry on the go. On top you want to add a spoonful of granola, then your fruit slices, and sprinkle your toasted coconut chips on top! This will give your bowl a nice crunch and burst of flavor!
